The honest version,

RAW Collective started years ago with a clear vision. Sustainable clothing that supports communities, empowers women, and protects the planet. The kind of brand I wanted to exist in the world and could not find anywhere else.
And then life happened the way it tends to.
I became a homeschool mom. My husband and I opened a gym together. The days got full in the way days do when you are running a household, raising kids, and trying to keep everything moving at once. RAW Collective went quiet. Not because I stopped caring. Because I ran out of margin.
For a long time I felt guilty about that. Like if I could not do it perfectly I should not do it at all. Like stepping away meant I had failed something.
You are allowed to build something slowly. You are allowed to come back to what matters, even after stepping away. You are allowed to evolve.
So here I am. In my 40s, done waiting for the perfect time or the perfect plan, building this back up in the margins of a very full life. Differently than before. Slower. More honest. More aligned with how I actually want to live and what I actually want to say.
Where it really began
Why it changed
Somewhere in the years of building a life around everyone else, I lost the thread of myself. Not dramatically. Quietly. The way it happens when you are so focused on keeping everything running that you stop checking in with the person doing the running.
I stood in my closet one morning and felt completely disconnected from everything hanging there. Not because I had nothing to wear. Because none of it felt like me anymore. Because I had changed and my wardrobe had not come with me. Because I had been so busy taking care of everything else that I had stopped taking care of myself.
That moment is where RAW Collective 2.0 really began. Not in a strategy session. In a closet. In a moment of honest discomfort that I suspect a lot of women know exactly.
This brand is for that woman. The one in the in-between space. No longer who she was, not yet sure who comes next. The one who has been everything to everyone and is quietly ready to figure out what she actually needs again.

A little about me
I live in Miami with my family. I homeschool my kids. I help run a gym with my husband. I am in my 40s and still figuring out what that means for who I am, how I want to dress, and how I want to take care of myself.
I do not have it all figured out. I am building this as I go, learning what works, adjusting what does not, and showing up as honestly as I can. Some weeks that means a lot of progress. Some weeks it means none. Both are part of the process and I have stopped pretending otherwise.
